Who? What? June 17, 2008

Who are these Blue Heron Local people anyway? Blue Heron Local is the work of goldlentil and no egrets. We will share recipes and experiences of buying, growing, cooking, and eating local (and sometimes not-so-local) food in the North Shore of Massachusetts: Beverly, Salem, Gloucester, Essex, Ipswich, Newburyport, and beyond. Our friends may not live on the North Shore, but they also like to eat, cook, and write. We have taken a solemn vow not to discuss frozen pizza, Martha Stewart, or cat poetry (unless it’s really, really good). Everything else is fair game.

    Hi there!
    I was looking for beet recipes and noticed to my surprise the pic you have posted as being one that I took here on our farm. Just wondering how you found it? I love taking pics of the veggies we grow to sell at farmers markets, restaurants and through our CSA. Thanks for your reply.
